Membership in the Virginia Tech Alumni Association is free. However, through programming and donations, our chapter has established a tradition of recognizing talented students from the Roanoke Valley who have decided to attend Virginia Tech.
Volunteer
Our chapter is growing, and we need volunteers in order to keep planning and coordinating great events for Hokies in our area! There are opportunities for all ages, skill sets, and schedules. Contact us if you are interested in a specific position or want to hear what opportunities are available

Looking for an innovative way to engage the market of 7,000+ Roanoke Hokies? We would love to partner with your organization through an event sponsorship. Being a sponsor of a chapter event includes: displaying your logo on our event flyer, social media, and email distributions; as well as the opportunity to table and interact with Hokies at chapter event.

Attend events
The easiest way to support our chapter is by attending our events and telling your friends and family about us! Many of our events are hosted at venues who support our chapter by donating a percentage of proceeds to our scholarship fund. So by just coming out to events like a game watch party, happy hour, or profit sharing night, a portion of your proceeds help pay for a future Hokie to attend Virginia Tech.
